At The Emerald Pub, our story begins with a chance meeting between owner Mary McGinty and the talented craftsman Frank Keresztes, both of whom started their journeys as bus drivers. Hailing from Passaic, Frank is not just a skilled builder; he’s also a devoted family man who once transformed a transit bus into a cozy camper for his wife and five children.

When Mary envisioned The Emerald Pub, she knew she needed someone who could bring her dream to life. After designing the pub's unique aesthetic, Frank traveled from Alabama to New Jersey to turn that vision into reality. Together, they created a space that reflects their shared passion for community, craftsmanship, and unforgettable experiences.
